Biography

I am the Head of Technical Staff at Anthrogen.

I received my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University, where I was advised by Vahid Tarokh. My PhD research focused on developing deep learning architectures and training mechanisms that accelerate convergence and improve generalization.

Before Duke, I received my BS in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, where I worked on several projects involving high-performance spatially coupled (SC) codes as part of the Laboratory for Robust Information Systems (LORIS). My work at UCLA was supervised by Lara Dolecek.
