Biography

Hi, I’m Shyam. I’m the Head of Technical Staff at Anthrogen.

I did my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke, where I worked with Vahid Tarokh. on deep learning and information theory. A lot of my research was about figuring out ways to make neural networks train faster and generalize better.

Before that, I studied Electrical Engineering at UCLA and worked with Lara Dolecek on high-performance spatially coupled codes.
